Everything you need to know when planning your tour
Learn more about Chattanooga’s famous party bike.
How long are the tours?
Tours go approximately 2 hours. If your tour goes longer, it probably means the tour guide likes you! Show some tip love!
What's your weather policy?
For whatever reason, the weatherman gets it wrong in Chattanooga a lot! Maybe it’s the mountains? Show up unless you have heard from us otherwise.
Generally, if there is no lighting and the rain isn’t coming in sideways, THE SHOW WILL GO ON. Other than the bench seat, you are covered under the bike. You can bring an umbrella if you want.
If YOU cancel the tour because of the weatherman’s forecast, you can do so 7 days before the tour for a full refund.
If Pints and Pedals cancels your tour due to weather, it will be 1 hour or sooner before the tour starts and you will get the option of a refund or reschedule. You will need to reference your booking ID if you reschedule.
If you show up to the tour and it’s agreed upon between guests and the tour guide that it is too dangerous to go out, you have some options.
- Visit a local bar/restaurant and wait the storm out. Check with your driver to see if that’s an option, we don’t want to interfere with other tours.
- Cancel the tour and reschedule.
- Cancel and be fully refunded
Can we bring alcohol? What kind of alcohol?
Beer only! No Glass allowed! More specifically, BYOCB(Bring Your Own Canned Beer). Doesn’t everyone love beer? Keep in mind these are city rules regarding alcohol. So, no liquor or wine is allowed. Please, pretty please, don’t bring glass.
Is a photo ID required?
Yes! Per city code all riders must be 21 years of age. If you wish to ride with someone under the age of 21 then no problem, but keep in mind there will be no alcohol allowed on that tour.
What should I bring?
Definitely bring your own beer! Bring your photo ID and cash can always come in handy. We provide, the cups, the cooler, an amazing sound system which you can easily hook up your own playlist. Oh yeah.. Bring the party!
Where and when should we meet Chattanooga's famous party bike experience?
Please meet at 1220 King Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403. We are now launching tours behind the Moxy Hotel in Chattanooga, TN
Can I store my purse or coat on the bike?
Yes! Not only was the pedal tavern custom built for storage, it was designed to protect your stuff from the elements.
What should I do if I am running late?
All tours start and stop on time. If you are running late, you are welcome to join us once the bike is stopped at the first bar / restaurant, which is usually somewhere on the newly renovated Station Street. Our pedal pub bike won’t be hard to miss because we have the best light system you have ever seen!(on a bike, anyways)
What is the total distance of the tour?
Tours go a distance of about 1.5 miles… So yeah! You can do this, no problem! There will also be several stops along the way to checkout the local landmarks.
Can I bring drinks from the bar onto the bike?
No! Per city code drinks ordered at bars are not allowed to be brought onto the bike. A friendly suggestion is to ask for your tab when you order your drink so there is no delays getting back on the bike.
What happens at the end of the tour?
Well, besides all the hoopla from having so much fun… You driver will return any unopened beer cans. You will be asked to finish your drinks or discard them into the trash can provided. City regulations!
What is your cancellation policy?
No refunds will be given for cancellations within 7 days of the tour. You may call ahead within 7 days to reschedule. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Are the seats comfortable/adjustable?
You will be riding the most comfortable pedal pub bike made. Our seats have a back on them. Other bikes don’t. That makes the safer and more comfortable! The seats are easily adjusted to suit riders needs. Our drivers will get you set up for the best riding experience when you arrive.
How many friends of mine does the bike hold?
The bike holds up to 15 of your friends! That’s a lot of friends on one bike.
Where does the tour go?
That’s the great thing about our tours. They are customized just for you. We typically take you to some of Southside, Chattanooga’s famous hot spots.
Can I bring my own music?
One big giant YES! How awesome is that? All you need is your smartphone on our pedal pub and you get to play your favorite tunes. You can always have your driver DJ for you. They are amazing DJ’s!
Do I have to pedal?
